Trai Byers (born July 19, 1983) is an American actor known for playing Andre Lyon in the Fox music-industry prime time soap opera, ''Empire''. ==Life and career== Trai Byers was born in Kansas City, Kansas. After a year of high school in Kansas City, he completed his high-school education in Georgia.
